Plantation Station is a project in collaboration with local designers, Aldea and students. We activated a silent bus stop by making a plantation station. It encourages conversations and provides healthy vegetables.

Før var rollen til eldre å huske, reflektere, gi råd, lære bort til de yngre. Slik var det en kontinuerlig videreføring av lærdom, tradisjoner og kultur innenfor et samfunn.Hver generasjon lærte fra den forrige om hva som var viktig i livet og hva som var nødvendig for overlevelse.
Historiemakeren har som rolle å bevare denne informasjonen på en moderne og samtidssrettet måte, ved å bevare historiene til eldre. Bygget er et livshistorie-bibliotek, drevet av ungdomsskoleelever – med eldre i en sentral og viktig rolle. Det skal knytte aldersgruppene sammen, styrke samarbeidet og kanskje hjelpe til å redusere ensomheten for mange. En del av oppgaven var å designe møbler for bygget. Jeg lagde Cella, som er et modulært møbel som kan flyttes og settes sammen til mange forskjellige kontekster.
